SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Theresa F. "Terry" (nee Seno) Omatto of
4Joliet, who passed away on November 30, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Theresa Omatto was born in Joliet on September 6,
61925 to Matt and Michelina Seno; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Theresa Omatto was a successful businesswoman
8throughout her life; she owned and operated The Vanity Box in
9downtown Joliet and later operated a salon at her home for many
10years; she also worked for Newstar Jewelers for 25 years; her
11hairstylist career continued while she assisted her daughter,
12Pam, at Studio 1005 for Hair Skin & Nails; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Theresa Omatto was a supporter of the D'Arcy
14Family Auto Dealerships and would tell her family and friends,
15"if you need a car, call me"; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Theresa Omatto was preceded in death by her
17husband, Matthew J. Omatto; her parents; and her 2 brothers,
18James and Matthew (the late Clara) Seno; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Theresa Omatto is survived by her daughter and
20son, Pamela (Richard) Loucks and Mathew "Mickey" Omatto; her 4

1grandchildren, Danielle, Mathew, Kody, and Allie Omatto; her
2sister, Rosemary (Frank) Costa; and numerous nieces and
3nephews; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Theresa F. "Terry" Omatto, and extend our sincere condolences
7to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
8it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Theresa Omatto as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
