SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Raymond L. Craig of Deerfield, who passed away on June 28, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Raymond Craig spent his early years on the family farm in Caldwell, Wisconsin, eventually moving to Mukwonago, Wisconsin; he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; and

WHEREAS, Raymond Craig worked in Chicago in the advertising industry; and

WHEREAS, Raymond Craig was the treasured husband of 63 years to Marilyn (nee Mohr); the cherished father of Susan Guernsey, Paul, Mark, and Barbara; the beloved grandfather of 9; and the adored great-grandfather of 2; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Raymond L. Craig, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Raymond Craig as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
