SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Louis P. Sedlacek, who passed away on May 26, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Louis Sedlacek was born on June 4, 1939; and

WHEREAS, Louis Sedlacek served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps; and

WHEREAS, Louis Sedlacek served as a policeman with the Cicero Police Department for many years until his retirement; he also worked as a pressman at the Chicago Sun-Times; and

WHEREAS, Louis Sedlacek was the beloved husband of the late Donna (nee Gledich); the loving father of Louis E. (Laurie), Paul (Mary), Marcus (Lisa), and the late Nicole Ann; and the dear grandfather of Nicole, Jessica, Kristen, Michael, and Courtney; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Louis P. Sedlacek; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Louis Sedlacek as an expression of our sympathy.
