SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Larry A. Dellaposta, who passed away on May 8, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Larry Dellaposta was born on May 17, 1955 in Waukegan; his parents were Paul and Lorraine (nee Drust) Dellaposta; he married his best friend, Janice "Lou" Muno, on May 24, 1986; and

WHEREAS, Larry Dellaposta attended Mother of God Grade School, Waukegan East High School, and the College of Lake County; he excelled in sports and had a passion for golf, baseball, and bowling; and

WHEREAS, Larry Dellaposta began his career at Lakehurst Liquors; he subsequently started his own cleaning company, SCC Cleaning, with the Spivey brothers, and worked at Abbott Laboratories/AbbVie for 30 years; for the past 6 years, he helped his best friend and brother-in-law, Woody Muno, with his tree trimming business; and

WHEREAS, Larry Dellaposta was preceded in death by his father and many grandparents, uncles, and aunts; and

WHEREAS, Larry Dellaposta is survived by his wife, Janice; a son, Paul; his mother; a brother, Don (Terry); a sister, Diane Cepon; 2 nieces, Nicki D. and Tara Cepon; his many other nieces, nephews, and cousins; an aunt, Joan Dellaposta; and his in-laws, Ron and Shirley Muno, Mark Muno, Ann, Aileen, and Laura; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Larry A. Dellaposta; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Larry Dellaposta as an expression of our sympathy.
