SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Eleanor Lillian Mungle of Woodstock, who
4passed away on March 7, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Eleanor Mungle was born on August 15, 1924 in
6Woodstock; his parents were Matthew A. and Elsie H. (nee
7Siebel) Schmarje; she married Gerald N. Mungle on July 22, 1944
8in Woodstock; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Eleanor Mungle was a lifelong member of St. John's
10Lutheran Church in Woodstock; she was also a member of the
11Woodstock Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Eleanor Mungle was preceded in death by her
13parents; her husband, Gerald; a son, Gerald Mungle; a
14great-granddaughter, Meghan; 5 brothers, Ed Schmarje, Don
15Schmarje, Ralph Schmarje, Les Schmarje, and Fred Schmarje; and
16a sister, Helen Corey; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Eleanor Mungle is survived by 3 sons, Edward
18Mungle, William Mungle, and Gary (Jill) Mungle; 3 daughters,
19Ruth Ann (Ken) Brodeski, Virginia (Frank Piska) Radloff, and
20Mary (Paul) Kleven; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren;
21a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Pauline Young; and many

1nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; therefore,
2be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Eleanor Lillian
6Mungle; and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Eleanor Mungle as an expression of
9our sympathy.
