SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Deanna K. Zellmann of Crystal Lake, who passed away on December 10, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann was born on September 12, 1939 in Upper Glade, West Virginia; her parents were Daniel and Glenna Miller; and

WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann served on the District 47 School Board for 7 years and was a founding member of the District 47 Parent-Teacher Association; and

WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and a founding member of the Sassy Sisters; and

WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann enjoyed gardening and traveling, having visited Europe, Scandinavia, and Australia; she also enjoyed babysitting; and

WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert (Margaret) Miller; and a son-in-law, Robert Floyd; and

WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert F. Zellmann, Sr.; her children, Bob (Karen) Zellmann, Andrea (late Robert) Floyd, Scott (Sheron) Zellmann, and Michael Zellmann; her grandchildren, Katharine, Thomas, Andrew, and Matthew Jackson and Sarah, Sydney, and Pema Zellmann; and a sister, Sandi (Ray) Kjar; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Deanna K. Zellmann; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Deanna Zellmann as an expression of our sympathy.
