SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mabel C. Weber of McHenry, who passed away on December 28, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Mabel Weber was born in McHenry on July 22, 1922 to Thomas and Grace (nee Doherty) Bolger; she graduated as valedictorian from McHenry High School and married Richard Weber at St. Patrick Church in McHenry on June 9, 1945; and

WHEREAS, Mabel Weber taught for many years at St. Patrick Grade School in McHenry and in the Johnsburg School District; and

WHEREAS, Mabel Weber was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard "Dick" Weber; her daughter, Judy; her son-in-law, James Christensen; her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Tom Sutton; and her siblings, Vivian Eastman, Eleanor Sullivan, and Thomas F. Bolger; and

WHEREAS, Mabel Weber is survived by her children, Grace (Alec) Beaudoin, Jane (Michael) Hausman, Janet Christensen, Mary Jean (Phil) Kiefer, Jean Barreto, Guy (Laura) Weber, and Jackie (Julie) Weber; her 16 grandchildren; her 14 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Walter Bolger, William (Carol) Bolger, Grace Stilling, Ann Miller, Margaret (Richard) Carey, and Rita (Raymond) Gaylord; and her sister-in-law, Kathryn Bolger; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Mabel C. Weber, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mabel Weber as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
