SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William R. Carrick of Johnsburg, who
4passed away on December 30, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, William Carrick was born in Chicago on June 25,
61947 to William and Gloria (nee Schezkie) Carrick; he married
7Terry Sexton in Chicago on September 13, 1972; he served 4
8years in the United States Army; and
 
9    WHEREAS, William Carrick became an electrician and worked
1035 years with Local 150 International Brotherhood of Electrical
11Workers; and
 
12    WHEREAS, William Carrick was an active member of Saint John
13the Baptist Catholic Church of Johnsburg; he served as a third
14degree knight in the Knights of Columbus Council 9167; and
 
15    WHEREAS, William Carrick was preceded in death by his
16parents; his wife of 37 years, Therese "Terry" Carrick; and his
17son, Brian Carrick; and
 
18    WHEREAS, William Carrick is survived by 13 of his children,
19John Carrick, Sam Carrick, Bill Carrick, Megan (Michael)
20Weiman, Therese Carrick, Tom (Megan) Carrick, David Carrick,

1Patrick (Nicole) Carrick, Daniel (Griffin) Carrick, Edward
2Carrick, Elizabeth Carrick, Mary Kate Carrick, and Bridget
3Carrick; his grandchildren, Joe, Jake, Logan, Raegan, Frances,
4Declan, and Theodore; his sister, Lucy (Bob) Giebelhaus; his
5nephews, Dave and Tim Giebelhaus; his brother, Daniel (Paula)
6Carrick; and his niece, Amber Carrick; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9William R. Carrick, and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of William Carrick as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
