SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lawrence James "Feez" Feezel, who passed away on December 9, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Feezel was born in Union on October 20, 1942 to Floyd and Alice (nee Bogard) Feezel; he married Mary Rita Daly on November 4, 1961; he was a lifelong resident of McHenry County; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Feezel was a past President of the Woodstock Jaycees, a member of Laborers' Local 25, and founder of the Minuteman Press of Crystal Lake; he was an avid fan of the White Sox, Bears, Bulls, Hawks, Huskies, Illini, Cubs, and Wolves; perhaps his greatest accomplishment in life was helping to create the concrete outer skin of new Comisky Park; he was also a popular Karaoke Singer; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Feezel was preceded by his wife, Mary, and his grandson, Ryan; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Feezel is survived by his children, Gary, Teri, Brian, Dan (Cheryl), and Sean; his sisters, Loretta "Texas" Vela and Judy Hansen; his beloved grandchildren, Taylor (Dan), Cailey, Jordyn, Cory, Devin, James, Elaine, Sammy, Madison, and Connor; and a multitude of nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Lawrence James "Feez" Feezel, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lawrence Feezel as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
