SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of David A. Ryon of Peoria Heights, who passed away on April 1, 2015; and

WHEREAS, David Ryon was born on August 12, 1959 in Peoria; his parents were William A. and Mary C. (nee Martin) Ryon; he married Marialice O'Neill on October 2, 1982; and

WHEREAS, David Ryon served as the director of buildings and grounds for Peoria District 150 for 29 years until his retirement in 2010; he also served as a project manager for Midwest Engineering and was also working with the Carver Center Board on the Center's restoration project; and

WHEREAS, David Ryon enjoyed spending time with his family, the outdoors, playing golf, watching the Chicago Bears, and using his mechanical abilities to help his family and friends find solutions to any project or problem; and

WHEREAS, David Ryon was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, David Ryon is survived by his wife, Marialice; a son, Kyle Ryon; 2 daughters, Meghan (Timothy) Woelfel and Molly Ryon; a granddaughter, Leah Woelfel; 3 brothers, Timothy (Nancy) Ryon, Thomas (Mary Jo) Ryon, and Michael Ryon; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of David A. Ryon; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of David Ryon as an expression of our sympathy.
