SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dell Luise Urban of Wadsworth, who passed away on December 8, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Dell Urban was born in Evanston on July 25, 1942 to Norman and Dell Luis Scheuber; she attended elementary school in a one-room schoolhouse that is now the Wadsworth Village Hall; she graduated from Warren Township High School in 1960; and

WHEREAS, Dell Urban was an avid equestrian; she loved all her animals, but horses were her passion; along with some friends, she originated the Wadsworth Wranglers; she performed throughout the Midwest, racing quarter horses and as a trick rider in rodeos; and

WHEREAS, Dell Urban was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Norman "Snook"; and

WHEREAS, Dell Urban is survived by her husband of 46 years, Edward; her son, Lonnie (Maureen) Urban; her daughter, Dell "Wheezer" Urban (Tina Gatz); her grandson, Devin Urban; her sister-in-law, Susie Martin; and her best friends, Cheryl Bushing, Chris Stavinoga, Darlene Schaefer, and Carol Petranek; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dell Luise Urban, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dell Urban as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
