SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert T. Cenar of Marengo, who passed
4away on January 16, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Cenar was born in Chicago to Robert J. and
6Carolyn (nee Miller) Cenar on March 6, 1960; he married Dian
7Onyett on March 11, 1989; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Cenar worked for more than 30 years at
9Midwest Trading Horticultural Supplies, Inc.; he was integral
10in building the company from its inception and was ultimately
11President and Chief Operating Officer; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Cenar enjoyed horseback riding, hiking,
13camping, and blazing trails at his "farm"; he was an avid
14Chicago Bears fan and liked to take trips in the Rocky
15Mountains and camping in Navajoland, Canyon de Chelly and
16Monument Valley; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Robert Cenar is survived by his wife, Dian; his
18father, Robert; his sisters, Karen (James) Wellhausen and Lori
19(Paul) Trost; his nieces and nephews, Jamie, Jimbo, and Jackie
20Wellhausen and Adam, Alex, and Andrew Trost; and many other
21members of the Onyett, Loya, Kappenman, Miller, Wandling,

1Chapman, and Warner families; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Robert T. Cenar, and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Robert Cenar as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
