SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Timothy Stephen Raymer of Hartford, who passed away on January 7, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Raymer was born on August 4, 1940 in Alton; his parents were Claude and Phyllis (nee Culver) Raymer; he married the former Carolyn S. Waterman on August 27, 1962; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Raymer served his country as a member of the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Raymer was a manager in the Corrugating Department of Owens - IL Glass for over 25 years before working at Fairfax Mobile Home Supply for many years; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Raymer was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Lewis and Clark Historical Society; he was also a volunteer at the Lewis and Clark Center Discovery Store; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Raymer was preceded in death by his brothers, Burton, Clayton, Kenneth, and James Raymer, and his sisters, Della Hough and Edna Hutchins; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Raymer is survived by his sons, Kevin Raymer and Jason Raymer, and his grandchildren, Rebecca Raymer, Natalie Raymer, and Avery Raymer; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Timothy Stephen Raymer; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Timothy Raymer as an expression of our sympathy.
