SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dolesther Chandler of Waukegan, who passed away on December 23, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Dolesther Chandler was born on July 3, 1947 in Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Dolesther Chandler is survived by her husband of 49 years, James Chandler, Sr.; her sons, James (Melissa) Chandler, III, Tanzana Chandler, and Tavares Chandler; her grandchildren, Tarik Chandler, Shalay Dukes, Joseph Chandler, Shameka Carley, and Angie Chandler; her mother, Cora Coleman; her great-grandchildren, Tiyoni Williams and Ke'Shawn Daniels; her siblings, Alex Coleman, Jr., David Coleman, Larry Coleman, Rickey Coleman, Geraldine (Levi) Finley, and Belinda Rowland; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Fannie Chandler, Clemmi Crumwell, Buck Culpepper, and Margie Chandler; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dolesther Chandler, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dolesther Chandler as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
