SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Frank Wesley Foehr of Bloomington, who
4passed away on November 4, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Foehr was born on May 1, 1942 to Frank Roman
6and Elsie Schnake Foehr; he graduated from Ashley High School
7in 1960 and received his Bachelor of Science from Southern
8Illinois University in Carbondale in 1964; he received his
9Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Loyola University Chicago; he
10served his country in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970
11as head of the dental clinic in Fort Huachucha, Arizona and
12then in Nah Trang, Vietnam; he was transferred to Massachusetts
13as head of Natick Dental Clinic and Lab before moving to
14Bloomington in June 1971 to start his private dental practice;
15and
 
16    WHEREAS, Frank Foehr's most cherished moments were spent
17vacationing with his family and enjoying their company; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Frank Foehr was preceded in death by his parents;
19and
 
20    WHEREAS, Frank Foehr is survived by his wife, Ruthann
21Foehr; his sons, Christian Foehr, Derek (Leia) Foehr, and Baine

1Foehr; his daughters, Abby (David) Serrano and Gena Foehr; his
2brother, John (Regina) Foehr; his grandchildren, Suzanne
3Foehr, Tyler Foehr, Julian Serrano, Veda Serrano, Victor
4Serrano, Brazil Foehr, and Samuel Foehr; and many
5brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews;
6therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Frank Wesley Foehr, and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented the family of Frank Foehr as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
