SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Michael Tobin Shklair of Beach Park, who passed away on September 10, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Michael Shklair was born on January 6, 1969 in Waukegan; he was a resident of the Waukegan area his entire life; and

WHEREAS, Michael Shklair was employed with Waukegan Unit School District 60 as a printer-duplicator for 29 years; and

WHEREAS, Michael Shklair was a musician and enjoyed playing his guitar and writing songs; he also loved to travel; in 1978, he and his partner, Neil Flynn, won the Illinois State Championship for Humorous Duet Acting; and

WHEREAS, Michael Shklair is survived by his parents, Irving and Korina (nee Haritonoss) Shklair; his brother, Daniel Mark (Karen Katz) Shklair; his sister, Victoria (Jeff) Wiedmeyer; his nephew, Jackson Wiedmeyer; and his beloved pet, Buddy; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Michael Tobin Shklair; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michael Shklair as an expression of our sympathy.
