SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Morgan M. McKinnon of Murrayville, who passed away on July 18, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon was born on September 10, 1995, in Jacksonville, to Patrick and Cynthia L. Neff McKinnon; she was entering her senior year at Jacksonville High School, where she played volleyball; and

WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon liked helping others in any way she could, whether it was donating blood or tutoring autistic children; she enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Bella; she worked at Leo's Pizza in Jacksonville; and

WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon was a member of Murrayville House of Prayer; and

WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon cherished the time she spent with the love of her life, Leo Alfano; and

WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Eula McKinnon and by her niece, Kaydence Woods; and

WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon is survived by her parents; her brother, Patrick McKinnon; her sisters, Rachel Downs, Celeste Panky, Ashley Henson, Brittany Woods, and Erica McKinnon; her maternal grandparents, Lynda and John Hartz and Lloyd Neff; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Morgan M. McKinnon, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Morgan McKinnon as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
