SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mildred Elaine "Millie" (nee Goodman)
4Wool of Waukegan, who passed away on July 3, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mildred Wool was born on February 23, 1924; she
6graduated from Waukegan High School and the University of
7Wisconsin-Madison; she married Dr. Frohman Wool on January 3,
81948; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Mildred Wool worked in her husband's medical
10practice as the office administrator for over 45 years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Mildred Wool was active in the sisterhood at
12Temple Am Echod, Hadassah, the Women's Auxiliary of Victory
13Memorial Hospital, and grade school parent-teacher
14associations; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Mildred Wool was a remarkable cook and enjoyed
16playing golf and spending time with her family and friends; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Mildred Wool was the beloved wife of Dr. Frohman
18"Buddy" Wool for 65 years; loving mother of Dr. Norman (Ruth),
19Karla Wool Bukstein, Dr. Steven (the late Cindy), and Gary
20(Lauren); and proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 4

1great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Mildred Elaine "Millie" Wool, and extend our sincere
5condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
6her; and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Mildred Wool as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
