SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary Allois, who passed away on June 25, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Mary Allois was born on January 10, 1920, in Orient; her parents were Marco and Joann (nee Reshear) Pietrantoni; she married Mario Allois on May 8, 1936; and

WHEREAS, Mary Allois retired from Smoler Brothers in Herrin after many years of service; and

WHEREAS, Mary Allois was a longtime member of Orient Church of Christ and the "Orient Chicken and Dumpling Gang"; and

WHEREAS, Mary Allois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mario; her granddaughter, Crystal Lynn Allois; her brothers, Joe, Alfred, and Albert "Bo" Pietrantoni; her sisters, Katie Jordan and Virginia Gass; and her niece, Robin Masters; and

WHEREAS, Mary Allois is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Wayne) Ellis; her sons, Mario (Rita) Allois and Wayne Allois; her grandchildren, Joann (Scott) Sneddon, Jerry Barton, Terri (Greg) Akin, Scott (Lori) Ellis, David (Christine) Allois, and Jayson and Lance Allois; her great-grandchildren, Jenny (Tim) Ditch, Michael Good, Dustin (Michella) Griffith, Morgan (Autumn) Allois, and Eden, Lyra, and Skylar Ellis; her nieces and nephews, which include Tom (Thelma) Pietrantoni, Tammy (Duane) Essex, Lavern (Barb) Gass, and John (Margaret) Gouse; and her dear friend, Lebera Pyle; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Mary Allois; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Allois as an expression of our sympathy.
