SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John A. Roggi; and

WHEREAS, John Roggi was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears; and

WHEREAS, John Roggi was the beloved son of Marina and the late Lino "Leon"; the loving brother of Marilee (Joseph) Pape, Rita (Dennis) Manfredini, and Joseph (Diane) Roggi; the cherished uncle of Mathew Manfredini, Joseph Pape, and Lia Roggi; the dear nephew of the late Peter (the late Derna) Roggi, the late Lawrence (Anna) Roggi, Ettore (Lauretta) and Louis (Ruth) Giovannetti; and the fond cousin and friend of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of John A. Roggi; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Roggi as an expression of our sympathy.
