SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lillian C. Shamorian of Waukegan, who passed away on February 18, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Lillian Shamorian was born on February 7, 1924, in North Chicago to Paul and Josephine Dolence; she married Frank Shamorian on December 30, 1944, in Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Lillian Shamorian worked as an office manager for Drs. Janks, Mitchell, & Sarsha until her retirement in 1991; she was a member of St. Anastasia Church and the K.SK.J.; and

WHEREAS, Lillian Shamorian was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents; and her sister, Dolores Madura; and

WHEREAS, Lillian Shamorian is survived by her children, Vaughn (Carol) Shamorian and Valerie (James) Pantel; her grandchildren, Laura (Will) Gossin, Kyle Shamorian, and Jessica and Jason Pantel; her brother, James (Anta) Dolence; and her nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Lillian Shamorian, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lillian Shamorian as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
