SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Emily "Millie" Macrowski, formerly of North Chicago, who passed away on March 23, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Emily Macrowski was born June 2, 1920 in North Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Emily Macrowski was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Anna Rygiel; her sisters, Tillie Beres and Adeline Wozniak; and her brothers, Edward "Weaser", Aloysius, Joseph, and Paul Rygiel; and

WHEREAS, Emily Macrowski is survived by her husband of 66 years, Walter Macrowski; her children, Judith and James (Valerie); her grandchildren, Stephen, Sarah, and Lynn; her brother, John (Elizabeth) Rygiel; and her sister, Mary Ann (Frank) Kaucic; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Emily "Millie" Macrowski; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Emily Macrowski as an expression of our sympathy.
