SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Vicki Ann Rodriguez of Harvard, who passed away on March 1, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Vicki Rodriguez was born in Harvard on October 15, 1966 to Edward and Shirley (nee Dowell) Geiger; she married Abundio Rodriguez in Woodstock on June 13, 1985; and

WHEREAS, Vicki Rodriguez worked for the Secretary of State Department of Motor Vehicles in Woodstock; and

WHEREAS, Vicki Rodriguez enjoyed reading, doing crafts, telling jokes, and having a good laugh; and

WHEREAS, Vicki Rodriguez was preceded in death by her mother and by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and

WHEREAS, Vicki Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Abundio; her father, Edward; her sisters, Dawn (Jose) Delamora and Robin Geiger; and her niece and nephew, Austin and Monica Delamora; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Vicki Ann Rodriguez, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Vicki Rodriguez as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
