SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dr. James Martin Brophy III of Waukegan, who passed away on November 14, 2012; and

WHEREAS, James Brophy III graduated from Loyola Dental School in 1973; he practiced dentistry in Waukegan for over 40 years; and

WHEREAS, James Brophy III was a lifetime member of the Waukegan Elks and Fox Lake Lions Club; he was also a member of St. Bede's Knights of Columbus and a fellow of Pierre Fauchard Academy; and

WHEREAS, James Brophy III is survived by his wife, Judi; his former wife, Shirley; his children, Anne, Jim IV (Shannon), Karin (Phil Lenhart), Susan (Ted Cauwels), and Juliet; and his 11 grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Dr. James Martin Brophy III; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James Brophy III as an expression of our sympathy.
