SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply
3saddened to learn of the death of Linda S. Tekampe of Winthrop
4Harbor, who passed away on November 8, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Linda Tekampe was born on September 17, 1948, in
6Waukegan to Gerald and Madeleine Render; she remained a
7lifelong area resident and married James Tekampe; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Linda Tekampe was a member of St. Anastasia
9Parish; she was a secretary for the Pines Condo Association and
10had been a beautician for 44 years; she was co-owner of the
11Hair Director Salon in Waukegan for the past 28 years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Linda Tekampe loved fashion and jewelry, keeping a
13beautiful home, entertaining, reading, golf, and her family and
14friends; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Linda Tekampe was preceded in death by her
16parents, Gerald and Madeleine (nee Sheridan) Render; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Linda Tekampe is survived by her husband, James
18Tekampe; her son, Patrick (Michelle) Tekampe; her grandson,
19Sullivan Tekampe; her stepsons, Joe Tekampe and his children,
20Matthew, Zachary, and Josey, Chuck (Judy) Tekampe and their

1children, Amanda, Jessica, Charlie, Anthony, Elizabeth,
2Melissa, and Rosemary; her sister, Trish (Ron) Lauraitis; her
3brothers, Dennis Render and Joseph Render; her nieces, nephews,
4cousins, and many dear friends and loyal clients; therefore, be
5it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Linda Tekampe, and we extend our sincere condolences to her
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Linda Tekampe as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
