SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply saddened to learn of death of Donna J. Hayes of Alton, who passed away on September 12, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Donna Hayes was born on March 5, 1938, in La Salle, to Howard and Lela Frances (Noble) Pierce; she married Donald E. Hayes on June 1, 1958, in Springfield; and

WHEREAS, Donna Hayes worked for the Illinois State Police, Bethalto National Bank, and U.S. Bank; she was a member of the College Avenue Presbyterian Church in Alton; and

WHEREAS, Donna Hayes was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Lela Frances Pierce, and her granddaughter, Stephanie Hayes; and

WHEREAS, Donna Hayes is survived by her husband, Donald; her sons, Daniel (Lisa) R. Hayes, David (Julie) Hayes, Doug (Barb) Hayes, and Darrin (Lisa) Hayes; her daughter, Debbie (Mark) Macias; her grandchildren, Brian (Tara) Hayes, Scott Hayes, Courtney Hayes, Lauran (Ryan) Hoefert, Joni Hayes, Hillary Macias, Jordan Hayes, Brittany Hayes, Kaitlyn Hayes, Emily Macias, Rachel Hayes, and Brandon Hayes; and her sister, Kay Steele; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Donna Hayes, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Donna Hayes as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
