SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Alex Braiman; and

WHEREAS, Alex Braiman served his country with pride as a member of the United States Army Air Forces during World War II in the South Pacific Theater; and

WHEREAS, Alex Braiman proudly graduated from DePaul University at the age of 83; and

WHEREAS, Alex Braiman was a longtime and respected insurance agent at Equitable Life; and

WHEREAS, Alex Braiman was the beloved husband for 64 years of the late Shirley; the loving father of Bonnie (Leonard) Gold and Jeffrey (Susan) Braiman; the adoring grandfather of Neal (Mindy) Gold, Katie (Robert) Abrams, Daniel Gold, Nina Braiman (Alon) Stein, Michael (fiancee, Jessica Gomberg) Braiman, and Mara Braiman; the doting great-grandfather of Samuel and Eli Gold and Molly Abrams; the cherished brother of Betty (Seymour) Robbins and Barbara Piper; and the treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Alex Braiman; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Alex Braiman as an expression of our sympathy.
