SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ronald Shawn Lynch, who passed away on
4June 18, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch was born on February 6, 1967, in
6Chicago; his parents were the late Francis Lynch and John
7Childress; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch was raised in Chicago; he graduated
9from the Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education in
101988; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch accepted Christ at an early age; he
12was a faithful member of the New Covenant Baptist Church, under
13the leadership of Reverend Stephen John Thurston; despite his
14physical disability, he understood and had a great love for the
15preached word of God and gospel music; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch was an active and outgoing person who
17loved to participate in family activities and outdoor events;
18he also enjoyed spending time with his siblings, family, and
19friends, especially his very special nieces, Latiste Marks,
20Wishanda Beasley, and Patricia Thomas; and

1    WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch was preceded in death by his parents
2and his siblings, Terrence, Vincent, and Roslyn; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch is survived by his sisters, Victoria
4Prewitt (Jimmy) and Yolandas Robinson; his brothers, Brian
5Lynch (Florida) and Roderick Lynch; his 7 nieces; his 2
6nephews; his 11 great-nieces; his 7 great-nephews; his
7great-great nephew; his uncles, Charles Walker and Delton
8Robinson; and his many other relatives and friends; therefore,
9be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
12his family and friends, the passing of Ronald Shawn Lynch; and
13be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Ronald Lynch as an expression of our
16sympathy.
