SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Betty E. Shisler of Waukegan, who passed away on May 8, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Betty Shisler was born on September 20, 1923, in Pontiac, Michigan; and

WHEREAS, Betty Shisler lived on Clover Leaf Lakes in Clintonville, Wisconsin; she enjoyed the serenity and peacefulness of living on the lake and loved playing cards, reading, dancing, and singing; and

WHEREAS, Betty Shisler was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Raymond Shisler; and

WHEREAS, Betty Shisler is survived by her loving children, Raymond (Dee) Shisler, Marilyn (Cal) Hays, and Nancy (Joe) Derby; her 6 grandchildren, her 12 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Daniel Parr; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Betty E. Shisler; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Betty Shisler as an expression of our sympathy.
