SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Edward "Ken" Rozga of Lake Villa, who recently passed away; and

WHEREAS, He married Mary 61 years ago on November 11, 1950 and moved to Lake Villa 5 years later; and

WHEREAS, He was a charter member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and worked for Amana for 33 years; he was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Wheeling VFW, and past president of the Venetian Village Civic Association; and

WHEREAS, Edward Rozga was the beloved husband of Mary; the cherished father of Constance (Thomas) Eadon, Nancy (David) Jucius, Douglas (Patricia), Wayne (Sharon), and Phillip (Jennifer); the grandfather of Michael, John, Renee, Amanda, Rhett, and Stephanie; and the brother of Donald and the late Arlene Churchill and Lorraine Winiecke; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Edward Rozga; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Edward Rozga as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
