SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Milton Delove Cannon, Sr. of Waukegan, who passed away on May 3, 2012; and

WHEREAS, He was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi on February 7, 1916; he was the son of Milton Cannon and Mary Emma Crane Davenport; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Michael Frederick; his wife, Marjorie; and his siblings, Eugene Cannon and Thelma Wallace; and

WHEREAS, Milton Delove Cannon, Sr. is survived by his sons, Milton (Karen) D. Cannon, Jr. and Vincent (Jill) Cannon; his grandchildren, Byron, Kenneth, Pajet, Piper, and Shane; his 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Milton Cannon, Sr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Milton Delove Cannon, Sr. as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
