SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Daniel T. "Dan" Nauert of Sugar Grove,
4who passed away on January 30, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born April 9, 1968, in Aurora, the son of
6Paul and Judy (West) Nauert; he attended Oswego High School
7where he became very involved as a student athlete; he
8represented the Panthers in both football, basketball, and was
9an all-state baseball player as well; throughout his experience
10in high school, he also managed to win over the heart of his
11high school sweetheart, Dawn Coddington and they were united in
12marriage on August 3, 1991; and
 
13    WHEREAS, He attended Monmouth College, where his skill in
14baseball allowed him to represent the Fighting Scots for 3
15years; outside of his success and involvement in baseball, he
16spent his time at Monmouth with all of his fraternity brothers
17at the TKE house; he graduated in 1990 with a bachelor's degree
18in business; and
 
19    WHEREAS, His career path led him to JVM Realty; throughout
20the years his hard work and dedication granted him the position
21of Chief Operating Officer at JVM; and

1    WHEREAS, Daniel Nauert is survived by his wife, Dawn; his
2children, Megan, Dylan, and Hannah; his mother, Judy; his
3mother and father-in-law; Grace and Larry Coddington; his
4brother, Dave; his father, Paul; and his extended family and
5friends; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
8his family and friends, the passing of Daniel Nauert; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Daniel Nauert as a symbol of our
12sincere sympathy.
