SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Patricia Ann "Pat" Schintgen of Antioch, who passed away on February 12, 2011; and

WHEREAS, She was born August 20, 1943 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Casmir and Frances Olszowy; she moved to Antioch in 1970, where she was a member of St. Peter Church; and

WHEREAS, She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and fishing; she dearly cherished her grandchildren, and loved attending their recitals, sporting events, and competitions; and

WHEREAS, She was very family oriented and had a love for animals; and

WHEREAS, On January 7, 1961, she married John Charles Schintgen in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Schintgen is survived by her husband of 50 years, John; her daughters, Theresa A.(James) Yopp and Kimberly A. (Edward) Watkins; her grandchildren, Branden, Andrew, Sarah, Jessica, and Casey; and her great-grandson, Bryce; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Patricia Schintgen; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Patricia Schintgen as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
