SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Richard "Rick" Allen Risinger, formerly of O'Fallon, who passed away on November 18, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Richard Risinger was born on October 24, 1957, in Flint, Michigan; and

WHEREAS, Richard Risinger was a proud veteran of the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, Richard Risinger was a longtime employee of Bethel Eckert in Collinsville; and

WHEREAS, Richard Risinger enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; and

WHEREAS, Richard Risinger was preceded in death by his mother, Irene (Daddy Bob) Haught; his nephew, Jeffrey Holcomb; his niece, Julie Jones; his father-in-law, Marshall McCane Sr.; and his sister-in-law, Cindy McCane; and

WHEREAS, Richard Risinger is survived by his loving wife, Amy Risinger; his children, Courtney Risinger, Jennifer (Christian) Charlebois, Matthew Risinger, and Ricky Slogan; his grandchildren, Allie and Elizabeth; his siblings, Gary (Donnie) Risinger, Dennis (Cindy) Risinger, Larry (Iretha) Holcomb, Karen (Larry) Beliew, and Hershall (Brenda) Holcomb; his mother-in-law, Norma McCane; his brothers-in-law, Billy (Dawn) McCane, Marshall (Tammy) McCane, and Lori (Jack) Clark; his dear friend, Jerry (Patricia) Parnell; and his many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Richard "Rick" Allen Risinger; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Richard Risinger as an expression of our sympathy.
