SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Bruce John Madiar, who recently passed away; and

WHEREAS, He was the past president of Ornamental Iron Workers Local 63 with 42 years of service; he was the trustee of the Local 63 Pension and Health and Welfare Funds; and

WHEREAS, He will be fondly remembered as full of life, honest, hard working, loving, loyal, pragmatic, a tireless provider for his family, and as always looking out for the underdog and the less fortunate; and

WHEREAS, Bruce Madiar was the loving husband of 41 years to Sheila Marie (nee McAuliffe); he was the beloved and devoted father of Tim (Kathy), Eric (Jennifer), and Ryan (Heidi); he was the doting grandfather of Brennan, Delaney, Jack, Audrey, and Greta; he was the strong big brother to Robert; and he was the caring uncle to many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Bruce Madiar; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bruce Madiar as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
