SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Barbara A. Fraser, who passed away on September 12, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Fraser was born in Joliet; she was a lifelong resident; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Fraser retired from Joliet Central High School after serving as a secretary for 22 years; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Fraser was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Joliet; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Fraser was preceded in death by her parents, George H. and Antoinette "Toni" (Medziek) Long; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Fraser is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Robert D. Fraser; her children, Robert D. (Barbara Hofmann) Fraser II, Brent (Michelle) Fraser, and Lynn Anne (Scott) Arias; her grandchildren, Madison, Shelby, and Payton Fraser; her brother, George (Nicole) Long; and her many close friends, caregivers, and other relatives; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Barbara A. Fraser; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Barbara Fraser as an expression of our sympathy.
