SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Wanda J. Glogovsky of North Chicago, who passed away on May 21, 2011; and

WHEREAS, She was born March 3, 1917 in North Chicago and married William Glogovsky in 1937 at Holy Rosary Church; and

WHEREAS, She retired from Fansteel Corporation in 1960 after 17 years of employment; and

WHEREAS, She was a member of Queen of Peace church in North Chicago and loved to bake and spend time with her family; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her brother, Walter Tubek; and her sisters, Blanche Morrissey and Jeanette Kalisz; and

WHEREAS, Wanda Glogovsky is survived by her children, Tom (Judy) Glogovsky, Barbara (Joe) Marocco, and James Glogovsky; her 31 grandchildren, her 3 great-grandchildren; and her 5 great-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Wanda Glogovsky; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Wanda Glogovsky as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
