SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Bernice Kwilinski (nee, Kent) of Wauconda, who passed away on May 27, 2011; and

WHEREAS, She was born April 24, 1938, in Russellville, Alabama; and

WHEREAS, She was a retiree from Honeywell International, a bus driver for the McHenry schools, and a Wauconda Township Republican precinct committeeman; and

WHEREAS, Bernice Kwilinski was the loving mother of Robert (Melissa) Cook and the late John Kwilinski Jr.; the cherished grandmother of Robert Cook Jr., Brendan and Joseph Cook, Samantha (Ian) Hansen, and John Kwilinski III; the proud great-grandmother of Matthew and Haley Cook, and Aubrey and Dylan Hansen; the dear sister of the late Faye Goodman; and she had many loving nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Bernice Kwilinski; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bernice Kwilinski as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
