SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Pearl Malk of Oak Park, who passed away on April 8, 2011; and

WHEREAS, She was a long time member of Oak Park Temple; and

WHEREAS, Pearl Malk, nee Marcus, was the beloved wife of the late Bernard; the loving mother of Barbara (James) Franch and Deborah Hawkins and the late Louise Malk and Ronna (Joseph) Harmon; the proud grandmother of Elizabeth and Emma Harmon; the dear sister of the late James and George Marcus; and the caring aunt of William Marcus; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Pearl Malk; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Pearl Malk as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
