SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Deborah Lynn Fox of Alton, who passed away on March 11, 2011; and

WHEREAS, She was born in Alton, the daughter of Estella (Sons) Martin of Godfrey and the late Jerry Martin; she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church; and

WHEREAS, She taught part-time at St. Mary's School and Evangelical Pre-School; she was a musician and private flute instructor, active member and former president of the Alton Symphony Orchestra, and past president of the YWCA Board; and

WHEREAS, She married Christopher Fox on August 30, 1974, in Godfrey; and

WHEREAS, Deborah Fox is survived by her husband, Christopher; her daughter, Angela Collins and her husband, Andrew; her son, Zach Fox and his wife, Bethany, and two grandchildren arriving shortly; her brother, David Martin; her sisters, Jane Jacoby and Bobbie Rhodes and her husband, Glenn; her nieces, Kryste Buoniconti and Jennifer Brown; and her nephews, Jason Jacoby, Aaron Rhodes, and Matthew Rhodes; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Deborah Fox; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Deborah Fox as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
