SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jeffery A. Johnson of Waukegan, who
4passed away on March 8, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jeffery Johnson was born on July 3, 1961, in Lake
6Forest; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Jeffery Johnson was the Purchasing Director at
8Great Lakes Naval Hospital for the past 25 years; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Jeffery Johnson had been the Choir Director for
10the old Holy Family Parish in North Chicago, the Queen of Peace
11Parish in North Chicago, and most recently for all three sites
12of the Most Blessed Trinity Parish in Waukegan; he taught voice
13and music to many in the community; he was a great lover of the
14theater and an active member of Community Theater, including
15the Waukegan Community Players; he was also a member of the
16Knights of Columbus, Waukegan Council 731; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Jeffery Johnson was preceded in death by his
18mother; his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Bernice Tonyan;
19and his paternal grandparents, Henry and Virginia Johnson; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Jeffery Johnson is survived by his brother, Ron

1(Julie); his sisters, Robin (Christopher) Fabry, Lynn
2(Douglas) Byron, and Debbie (Randy) Fabry; his father, Ronald
3K. Johnson; his nieces and nephews, Ryan and Hannah Fabry,
4Allison and Kayce Fabry, Derek and Kyle Johnson, and Courtney
5and Reilly Byron; and his many extended family members,
6friends, and parish family; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
9his family and friends, the passing of Jeffery A. Johnson; and
10be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Jeffery Johnson as an expression of
13our sympathy.
