SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Matthew W. Weyen of Carlinville, who passed away on October 21, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen was born February 28, 1986, in Springfield; he was the son of Mark W. and Tracy (Goodman) Weyen; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen graduated from Carlinville High School in 2004; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen served as the Operations Manager for the farming division of Doyle Manufacturing in Quincy; he also served as a hunting guide for the Doyle operations; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen was a member of Ss. Mary & Joseph's Catholic Church in Carlinville and the Black Hole Builders; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen enjoyed hunting duck and goose, golfing, working with his dog, Rage, and enjoying life to the fullest with his friends; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beth Weyen, and his great-grandfather, William Ruyle; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Weyen is survived by his father, Mark W. Weyen; his mother, Tracy and Lige Daley; his sister, Kelsey Weyen; his grandfather, John Weyen; his grandparents, Vernon and Sandra Goodman; his great-grandmother, Blanche Ruyle; his many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dog, Rage; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Matthew W. Weyen; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Matthew Weyen as an expression of our sympathy.
