Amends the Surface Coal Mining Land Conservation and Reclamation Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

AN ACT concerning regulation.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 1. The Surface Coal Mining Land Conservation and Reclamation Act is amended by changing Section 1.01 as follows:

(225 ILCS 720/1.01) (from Ch. 96 1/2, par. 7901.01)

Sec. 1.01. Short Title. This Act may be cited as the the Surface Coal Mining Land Conservation and Reclamation Act.
