HOUSE RESOLUTION

BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we urge the United States Internal Revenue Service to classify fire sprinkler retrofits as five-year property for the purposes of depreciation under the federal Modified Accelerated Cost-Recovery System; and be it further

RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be delivered to the Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service and the members of the Illinois Congressional delegation.
