HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Central Cougars basketball team on winning the Class 2A State Championship; and

WHEREAS, The team finished the season with a 34-1 record; and

WHEREAS, The varsity cheerleaders are Erica Dumstorff, Casey Schulte, Morgan Thole, Ashleigh Dempsey, Katrina Rakers, Brooke Schipke, Haley Shirley, Ciara Lohman, Mackenzie Munie, Melissa Wolters, Haley Holtmann, and Alissa Koch; and

WHEREAS, The Head Coach is Stan Eagleson; the Assistant Coaches are David Thomas, Kurt Peters, Jeremy Shubert, Donny Petterson, and Ryan Meyer; and

WHEREAS, The Superintendent is Kevin Meyer; the Central High School Principal is B. Kent Jones; the Athletic Director is Allen Warnecke; the team trainer is Marty Stewart; the cheerleading coaches are Julianne Jacob and Alison Thole; and the team managers are Ryan Sherman and Armando Guerrero; and

WHEREAS, The members of the team are Greg Meyer, Jacob Timmermann, Nick Grapperhaus, Tanner Imming, Justin Becker, Gavin Thomas, Andrew Schulte, Luis Perez, Austin Rickhoff, Kyler Scheer, Luke Jackson, Brandon Book, and Noah Stockmann; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Central Cougars basketball team on their impressive victory and wish them the best for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Central Cougars basketball team as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
