HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate LIN-MAR Motors in Morton Grove on being named the business of the year by the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and

WHEREAS, LIN-MAR Motors was started by Wally Lundin and has become a one-stop automotive service business, taking care of the needs of car owners in the Morton Grove area; and

WHEREAS, Wally's son, Ron Lundin is the third generation involved in the family business, along with Ron Jr. and Tony; and

WHEREAS, In 2004, LIN-MAR Motors was also named the business of the year by the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Ron recently received the Order of Towman from American Towman magazine; the award is presented to a towing professional for his dedication to the towing trade and the community he serves; and

WHEREAS, LIN-MAR recently moved to a new location, a 68,000 square foot, state-of-the-art auto service facility; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate LIN-MAR Motors owner Ron Lundin and his staff on fifty-plus years of service and wish them the best for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to LIN-MAR Motors owner Ron Lundin as a symbol of our respect.
