HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Toni Leigh Elston of Springfield, who passed away on March 7, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Toni Elston was born on July 17, 1964 in Danville; her parents were Joe E. and Carolyn Brown; she married Jeff Elston on April 26, 1991; she was a resident of Springfield since 1990 and previously lived in Dallas, Texas and Catlin; and

WHEREAS, Toni Elston was a homemaker; she loved scrapbooking, sewing, quilting, cooking, going to the movies, shopping, studying the Bible, and spending time with her children; and

WHEREAS, Toni Elston is survived by her husband, Jeff; her sons, Alexander (Samantha) Henthorn and Roman Elston; her grandchildren, Logan, Braelyn, and Gavin Henthorn; and her parents; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Toni Leigh Elston; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Toni Elston as an expression of our sympathy.
