HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Randall Earl "Bubbles" (Randy) Rann and Donna Mae Rann of Harrisburg, who passed away on February 29, 2012; and

WHEREAS, He was born in Harrisburg on May 23, 1947, a son of Freda (Cowsert) Rann and the late Robert Rann; she was born in Harrisburg on September 21, 1950, a daughter of the late Agnes (Thomas) and Seigle Patterson; and

WHEREAS, They were married on May 9, 1970 at Carrier Mills; and

WHEREAS, They were members of the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Galatia; and

WHEREAS, He worked in the parts department at Fabick in Marion prior to his retirement; he was treasurer at the Galatia Masonic Lodge # 684, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, and a Shriner; she worked as a Secretary for the United States Forestry Service in Harrisburg; and

WHEREAS, Randall Earl Rann and Donna Mae Rann are survived by their sons, Ryan (Samonica) Rann and Jeff (Emily) Rann; her sister, Emojean Kirkland; her brothers, Neal (Loretta) Patterson and John C. (Janice) Patterson; his brothers, Roger (Carol) Rann, Ronald (Brenda) Rann, and Jerry (Nancy) Rann; his sister-in-laws, Sue Rann and Judy Rann; and their grandchildren, Grayson Rann, Shelby Rann, Skyla Rann, Gavin Rann, and Makenna Rann; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with their family and friends, the passing of Randall Earl Rann and Donna Mae Rann; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Randall Earl Rann and Donna Mae Rann as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
