1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Gregory
4 W. Swierk of Harrisburg, who passed away on February 29, 2012;
5 and

6     WHEREAS, Gregory Swierk was born January 6, 1962, in
7 Chicago; he was the son of Gregory and Joan Welch Swierk; and

8     WHEREAS, Gregory Swierk served his country with pride and
9 distinction as a member of the United States Army; and

10     WHEREAS, Gregory Swierk was preceded in death by his
11 parents; and

12     WHEREAS, Gregory Swierk is survived by his sons, Matthew
13 Swierk and Michael Swierk, and his best friend, Joe Potts;
14 therefore, be it

15     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16 NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
17 we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of
18 Gregory W. Swierk; and be it further

19     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

1 presented to the family of Gregory Swierk as an expression of
2 our sympathy.
