HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to honor the members of Cub Scout Pack 13 on their many accomplishments; and

WHEREAS, The members of Cub Scout Pack 13 have reached the end of their Cub Scout journey and are about to embark on a new journey with their new Boy Scout troop; and

WHEREAS, The American Legion will sponsor an annual Blue and Gold Celebration to honor Cub Scout Pack 13 and their accomplishments on February 26, 2012; and

WHEREAS, The Blue and Gold Celebration will also celebrate 102 years of Boy Scouting in America; and

WHEREAS, The Blue and Gold Celebration will include a presentation of scouting traditions by Webelos II Scouts; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the members of Cub Scout Pack 13 for being an example to other young men in their community and for shining as Cub Scouts in both word and deed, and wish them luck in their future endeavors as Boy Scouts; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Cub Scout Pack 13 as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
